- Speaking as the owner of an original Power, I can tell you that its data
- pump is not flashable. Yes, they used some sort of flash ROM there, but
- there is evidently no provision for downloading code into it. Whereas the
- Power's data pump was never intended to be flashable and so Motorola never
- supported that ability even when the hardware allowed it, the Premier's
- data pump is intended to be flashable and Motorola will support the
- ability.
